Novint’s Falcon Haptic device we will use for the AnarkikAngels software is like a small
grounded 'robot' and provides the 'force feedback' that gives the uncanny sense of touching
a virtual object. The Falcon device replaces the traditional mouse and also provides
more natural and coherent movement in 3 dimensions. This gives a more natural method
of interaction within a virtual space. It has been designed to be affordable for all,
and available on a mass scale.
For stakeholders to fully benefit from the Cloud9 project, the Falcon is essential.
It is anticipated that AnarkikAngels software will include this to complement the haptic device
which can be used with the other hand. Research has shown that this combination makes it easier to
